Aerial Drone Application

Aerial drones are a new and exciting development in the security market. With the launch of this technology, Chartsec is seeking to utilise drone platform systems (DJI) within specified areas of its security services. The company foresees many new opportunities where these systems can be utilised for real time surveillance, as well as engineering damage assessments, localised photography requirements and applied security measures.

Other areas of possible utilisation are within the oil/gas sector, for example – pipeline surveillance and regular checks on platform maintenance and servicing.

The company drone operators are trained to UK CAA/PfCO regulated standards and have pilot licenses, as well as insurance to enable the company to utilise the drones in a fully legal capacity. Present drone platforms which have been adopted with the company include Phantom4 Pro and Mavic Pro-DJI systems.
