TRAINING DESIGN

All courses follow a Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT). The courses are designed around the organizations Mission Requirement (MR). Prior to any training delivery a Training Needs & Analysis Study (TNA) is conducted with the specified client in order to ensure that the training delivery is SMART:

Each course is supported with a Training Specification Document (TSD), outlining the training delivery in detail and including:

10. Student Training Pamphlet& Teaching Support Documentation

All subjects are taught following a specific “Training Pathway” ensuring the student has every opportunity to maximize his/her teaching experience. Training Objectives are achieved by adopting a “Systems Approach to Training” and follow a learning sequence of:

1. Theory
2. Theory Assessment
3. Practical Teaching Exercise (TEWT)
4. Practical Application
5.  Practical Evaluation

All group and individual performances are recorded in detail and students are continuously updated on their progress in order to maximize their capabilities and address any weak areas. This tried and tested approach to specialist training guarantees that on successful graduation from the course, the Sniper Operator is ready for immediate employment as a Sniper within the organization and most importantly ready to deploy on Operations. All course attendees train with their issued:

5. Associate Tactical Equipment

This approach ensures that the students are fully aware of the advantages and limitations of their working tools but most importantly have the knowledge to maximize these assets supporting them fulfil their Mission Requirement as a Sniper Operator.

All subjects taught are learned in a methodical “Step by Step” process so that the student has a thorough background knowledge and a complete skill competency.

The length of course is tailored to the number of attending students and course support with a focus being placed on meeting pre-determined qualification standards.

SPECIAL TO ROLE SNIPER COURSES

CHARTSEC Sniper Courses are designed around the clients Operational Requirements in order to meet their MISSION. We apply a DSAT Philosophy applying the formula:

TRAINING PERFORMANCE STATEMENT (TPS) + OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE STATEMENT (OPS) = MISSION REQUIREMENT (MR)

Many Specialist Organizations require a course that is specific to their Mission Requirement, designed in accordance with their Rules, Regulations & Laws and a Training Syllabus that can be integrated into their Training Cycle. CHARTSEC will leave a “A Training Footprint” that has the potential to expand and enhance an organizations operational fluidity.
